Hi all, A couple of weeks ago (or more), someone posted a bit about a pathway going up the North face and from the top seeing some great views of the bay from above the flag.
As I usually do something mad each year( done the flag, the para gliding, the parachute e.t.c I thought I might give this a go.The rest of our party have no intentions of leaving the pool, bar, beach area so it looks like I go solo.!!
Now I need a bit advice from those brave pioeers who have already done it.
Is the track plainly visible ? do I need long trousers on? how long do you reckon there and back? and is there a bar at the top???
Any advice would be helpful - the rest of my group think I,m mad!! (maybe I am)
Cheers from one of the Geordie-Mafia.
P.S. By the way I an 73 years old but a YOUNG 73. Cheers all.

Hi all, Sorry, forgot to add. Will be there from Sept 19 for 2 weeks. Cheers

Young 73 or not I would give it a miss
Why not go for another route
Walk up the road where the market is and on the right you will see a barred gate
Go through, follow the road up and you will get some nice shots of the bay from a different angle

Hi JT, Tks for the advice. I think this was the route that I intended to take which was mentioned in a previous posting.
Is the barred gate next to, or opposite a Shell/Esso garage in the market place ? I will call into the office before I venture up.
Cheers from one of the Geordie-Mafia
