Thank you Dewsbury john. We were asking in Greenhouse and they weren't sure where he was working but will pop into Cafe Anne's to say hello.

Sun lover did you call in to say hello to serdan at cafe anne if so did you tell him who told you where he was.i have known serdan a number of years now and we normally go see him twice a year but only going in September this year. His brother only lives ten miles away from me that's the reason I see him in December every two years

Sorry Dewsbury John but when we went into Cafe Anne's he was not there but then heard there's two Cafe Anne's so perhaps I was in the wrong one. I am home now but sorry we did not get to see him. I noticed Love Boat was very quiet anytime we passed by and there was only one member of staff we recognised. Having seen the place so quiet we decided not to go this year and that is a first for us. Decided to try new places this time for a change. Hope you enjoy your holiday when it comes and the changes to the resort made no difference to us or changed our opinion of Icmeler. We will be back as usual.

Hi sunlover. Like you we always have a meal in Love-Boat and think its o.k. but we also love to try different places. When you did your wanderings, did you find anywhere new that you could recommend?? Cheers.

If you like proper Turkish food, try Hanedan or Meryem Yemek Evi - we also ate at Ugra, Sofra, Burcu, Kardelen Pide and Kayra Pide - lovely Turkish food and great prices too. One of our meals was a two-course lunch which cost the equivalent of £6 - for all three of us!
Of course, some of the little Turkish places don't serve alcohol, which might put some people off, but I would recommend people give them a go - you get great, no frills food and it's good to try something different.

Hi Geordie mafia. I agree with blondiescots comments about traditional Turkish establishments and although not new we found Cupids, Yolo and Titanic very good but were disappointed in the Chef which is another restaurant we usually visit. We do enjoy a nice curry and as we hadn't found a place that ticked the boxes for that in Icmeler we went to Taj Mahal in Marmaris which had been recommended to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and thought the price was excellent compared to home.
