I am under the impression that E-Cigs are banned, both their purchase and their use and I also understand that they are regularly taken into Turkey and used quite openly by many tourists.
I have read however, that this season, a few people have been stopped at the airports and had the confiscated.
Can anyone enlighten me regarding the "Legal" stance here and also what is happening "in reality"
Many thanks.

It is illegal for e-cigs to be sold in Turkey along with the liquids. My friends and family have brought theirs over and had no problems. I think as long as the atomiser is disconnected from the battery when going through security it's fine.
I have however seen them for sale in Turkey but believe the liquid have no nicotine in them
