New bar

Postby sancher » 30 May 2014 06:03

A new bar has opened end of the canal overlooking the beach called KikiBeach i think all open air very nice seating areas and a live band playing night times. Dont know if this is part of a hotel but dont look like it is with front men & women trying to get you in. Live band sounds good too

Hi Bikerjambo

It's where the La Grotta use to be at the side of the La Perla
Right on the front.

Live music? Interesting.

This is one of the bonuses of the dancing barman/Michael Jackson type of unlicensed entertainment being halted.

Bars and restaurants will now have to up their game and perhaps come up with something new, fresh and most importantly fully licensed, to attract these customers who feel the need to be entertained every night.

What type of music is it ? Cover versions etc ? Also, Is it loud ? Don't mind quite loud, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation :-)

It was a band with a girl singing when we passed but it was quite late and they were just finishing up. Not too loud and they seemed quite good...was a Turkish song they were doing at the time.

Thanks for that blondie, sounds ideal for a place to enjoy a relaxing drink, different from Michael Jackson and The robot with blackpool illuminations :-)
