Trying to find people

Postby Norman » 18 May 2014 16:41

Hi all,
Coming back to Icmeler soon after a gap of about 10 years. Could any one help in finding people that were there then?
1. Where is Ahmed used to be known as Al Fayed manager of Deniz Kapesi?
2. Where is Leon, worked at Deniz then opened own place
3. Does anyone remember Jan and Dave, Jan was a manager at the Baron, Dave had the Fish and Chip shop
4. Who is left at Deniz Kapesi now?

Any help would be much appreciated
Regards Norman

Travellers Rest

Postby Norman » 19 May 2014 19:43

Hi does anyone know if this place still exists? Used to be run by an English couple, food was brilliant. Reason I am asking is that a couple I am trying to find, Jan and Dave used to work there. A good while back they moved back to the UK as Dave had to have an appendics op.Jan and Dave used to run Rockafellas back in the old days, then Dave ran the chip shop and also worked at the 2 Sisters. Jan worked at the Baron for a while and then they both moved to the Travellers Rest. Jan worked the till in the restaurant and Dave ran the appartments. Would love to get in touch if anyone can tell me where they are now

Trying to find Jan and Dave

Postby Norman » 20 May 2014 20:48

Hi all hope you can help,
This goes back a few years so maybe old timers would be best to help, no offence!!
Does anyone remember Jan and Dave? Used to run Rockafellas in the old days. They were an English couple from Doncaster I think. Their son had a baby with one of Tekins daughters at Deniz Kapesi. Jan then was customer relations manager at Baron and Dave ran the chip shop. Dave then worked at the 2 sisters for a while. Last time I was in contact with them they were both working at the Travellers Rest which is now something else. I heard that Dave had to go back to UK for an appendics operation and was then coming back to ICMELER. Lost touch since then, can anyone help please?

Message for Christine & Ramazan,
Christine when you had the Travellers Rest an English couple called Jan and Dave used to work for you. Jan worked the till and Dave managed the apartments. Could you either put me in touch or perhaps tell me where they are now please?
