Tried the same thing a few years ago, gave Portugal a try, gave icmeler a rest. Loved Portugal but the call off icmeler was stronger.
Been going to icmeler twice a year for around 15 years. Thinking of once next year, trying kalkan for 2nd holiday. Not my idea. Know the year after we will be back to 2 visits to icmeler, yipppeeeeee.

Friends of ours visited Kalkan and said it was lovely - but a lot more expensive than Icmeler. We will certainly be back to Icmeler again - but having flown via Istanbul this year and spent a few days in Dalyan as well, we're also determined to explore a bit more of this lovely country, so we might combine part of our holiday in Icmeler with some time elsewhere as well.

Good idea Blondie ... Only problem I can see is that the Country is so vast I'd need to take about 3 months off work to travel around it! .... Mmmmm, great idea! Lol
