Televised rugby league

Hi,
My first post here on the forum so would just like to say hi to everyone first

I fly out with my family on the 19th August for 2 weeks to Icmeler and staying at the Pinewood apartments.

Was wondering if anybody knows if there will be somewhere televising the Rugby league challenge cup final on the 24th August ?

Hello and welcome to the forum

My wife and stepdaughter are big Saints fans and when we have been over there and the final was on all you had to do was ask in the bar you are in and they put it on for you.

You should have no problem finding somewhere to watch it.

De ja vue is only 3 minutes walk form Pinewood and they have big screen teles up and I am sure would put the rugby on for you

We always go to Sports Bar for our Rugby fix we will be there for the playoffs to watch all the games hopefully involving HKR lol

Sports Bar is okay but if there are more motor racing fans than rugby fans you will end up listening to the commentary through headphones. The 3 Bells bar opposite Babadan Aparts will put the rugby on for you and that is a bit closer to Pinewood as well.

Thanks for al the replys. Looks like I will be going to the 3 bells to cheer Hull on ( I am a big Saints fan). Never been to Icmeller so really looking forward to it.

I am also hopeing to see the chalange cup final to cheer my home team of Hull on. It is many years since both the rugby teams in Hull faced each other at wembly.So would love to watch it & give my town my support even though i am hundred's of miles away

Hi Lynnep we will be watching at home but will be in Icmeler for the Playoffs so hopefully will be cheering Rovers on are you east or west of the river we are east (of course lol) we are neutral for the cup do not like either team just hoping for a good game

Hi Yorkshirerobin we are east hull about 15 min from Rovers ground but as you say it is our home town so red or white or black or white you support the team of your town. Still remember the time both teams were at wemberly what a celibration the town had that night. Think the lights will be left on in East Hull but turned off by the last person leaving west Hull l.o.l .Made arrangements for my daughter to text me the scores as they unfold just incase we do not get to see the match.

We are only ten minute walk from Craven Park and after this weekends results am pleased to say we will be in the Playoffs So we will be watching them in the sunshine lol
