Rotisserie Chicken

Postby steveyvonne » 30 Jul 2013 04:46

I have seen a lot of people mention on the forum that they buy cooked chickens to take back to the accommodation, can anybody offer any recommendations of where to try.
Thanks..

The 2 places we use are, Alins grill, and a little shop opposite Deja vu....(which actually just sells chicken)...

Alin's chickens are 12tl, opposite Deja Vu costs 10tl & there's also a third, used to be the former Bar 1 now general food-store that sells british products - their chickens cost 10tl with free litre of pepsi, fanta or sprite.

Thanks for the replies, we found the one opposite the Deja Vu this morning & the smell was lovely. Will pick one up tomorrow after the market..

I love doing this on holiday getting a chicken from the place opposite Deja Vu, buying fresh bread and veg from the market. Dont know if its because we are on holiday or not but it defo tastes better than back home. Dont forget a wee Efes or 2 to wash it down
