Uploading pics from an iPad

Postby ScouseFitz » 15 May 2013 11:02

Hi folks,
I'm flying out in July, and I'm planning on writing another blog. Might even finish it this time :D
Just wondering if anyone knows how to upload a picture from an iPad onto the forum? Can't get my thick Scouse head around the technology!! I'd be grateful of any advice.
Cheers

Take a picture of the iPad on your mobile and then upload it

Never used one so can't even think how to do it without having a play...

Ooh yeah, I forgot about dropbox, similar to Photobucket, you link devices to it and it uploads automatically whenever you have an internet connection. Dead simple.

Photobucket for me too. If you PM me when I get back, (after 26th) I will do a walkthrough (with pics) for everyone and post it on the forum.

Photobucket is much improved this year, I struggled with it last year on a laptop but gave it another go - really easy, once you've uploaded your pics hover to the top right of each one and you get the sharing options to copy the img code straight into your forum post. If you do this all in safari you can toggle between screens :)

Scousefitz,
If you are taking the photo's with the Ipad/Smart phone uploading the photos to Photobucket is no problem, But if you are using a Digital Camera you may have to wait until you return home, or enlist the help of a bar with a laptop/computer, so you can upload them, using Photobucket is also easy, have two tabs open, one on forum, one on Photobucket, just copy the image code in Photobucket, switch tabs and paste in forum.

Or if using your camera just go onto eBay and buy an SD memory card reader, you can use this to transfer your photos from your memory card onto your iPad. I bought one last year and so much easier than loading onto your laptop or computer when you get home and no need to wait until you get home

The replies to this post really help me too. I had no idea how I was going to add them into my blog from my camera but Rhodes Apartments has a computer for use so I should be able to upload them using my cables if I take them with me. :D
