Hi

Does anyone know if it's worth a day out to Armutulan?

How do you get there on the dolmus?

Not a lot there except more apartments and shops. The main thing of interest is the ampitheatre and sometimes there are concertts there.

get the dolmus to the Point centre then get the number 2 or 3 dolmus which is blue in colour to take you into Armutalan

If you go to Marmaris market it could be interesting to go round Armutulan, there is a very old cemetry just before you get to the Amphitheatre which we have spent some time looking around,it all depends if that sort of thing interests you or not,no comment please JT!!. There is plenty of restaurants where you can get a drink or something to eat before you return to Icmeler.

There is actually a beautiful forest at the top of Armutalan if you don't mind a bit of a walk up a hill. From Icmeler you would have to catch the bus into Marmaris Centrum (the no 2 & no 3 no longer go near Point Centre) From Centrum you can catch the no 2 or no 3 dependent on where in Armutalan you would like to go (for the forest the no3 goes to the hightest point before you have to walk). There are some nice restaurants in main Armutalan Centrum, but shops are pretty much what you see in main Marmaris and Icmeler
