Booked for next year

Postby haydn » 15 Oct 2012 18:57

Well we've done it. Booked flights and aps for next year. Flights through TC cheapest and basically only decent flight from east mids. plus its only £50 taxi from home. Birmingham was a little cheaper but would have to pay £110 airport carpark plus fuel, so no contest really. We are stopping at the Imperial aps booked through ICR, and (this is the best bit) were going for 3 weeks, paid £655 for 10 nights this year and should be about £750 for 3 weeks next year. Countdown clock is running

Sounds like a plan Haydn. Brilliant. You can start counting down now! I've booked my apartments (penciled in) for May, June and July so far. Been looking at flights just now and TC are the best from Gatwick too. Though they are quite a lot but I am going to try and get them booked earlier for next year. Am looking at £239 for May pp, £281 for June & July is actually quite a lot more. These prices are inclusive of bags, meals and seat booking. :D
Booked the apartments through ICR, same as this year which I will start paying off very soon. Already counted down on the calender to see how many sleeps it is until my first one!!

You'll have a great time at the Imperial I've stayed there three times now and hopefully will be the fourth time next year.

The rooms over looking the pool, 208 and 209 only sleep 3 people. This year they stopped using the attic rooms so if your a party of 4 you should be fine. They only used the attic rooms for couples and I think Sony (the manager of 10 years) was sick of having to move people.

Most of the staff have been they for years and the majority of guests have been before, plus the pool has the sun all day. And don't forget the food comes from Allin's Grill which is very nice and one of the cheapest places for a meal this year (Restaurant wise).

Now sit back and wait

Hi Haydn, we have also booked the Imperial for next year. I think I read in a post in another forum that you are going 18th September. We go on the 13th September for 3 weeks, I will look out for you!

Woohooo...

Holiday booked

2 weeks at Grand Aquarium in Icmeler from 29th July to 12th August with a fly-out time from Leeds Bradford of 13:50 and return time of 21:10, back in uk for 23:35.

Booked it with Jet2 with free child place for 16 year old. Total cost of £1788.88 (including meals, seat reservations, luggage & shuttle transfer) so pretty chuffed with that.

Went for 10 days this year but felt it wasn't long enough, hence 14 nights this time. Also last year we went with Thomas Cook but the flight times were horrendous, we go to the hotel at around 5am so kind of ruined the whole first day as we were so tired, had a nice Turkish bath on the first day though so that helped (as did the full English breakfast and a few Efes lol).

Don't want to wish my life away but really looking forward to it.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone on the forum and all mods a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous (and hot & sunny) 2013 :D :D

My son stayed at the Kapmar last year whilst we were staying at Golmar. We went up to visit him a few times and the hotel is really nice, friendly staff....you'll have no problem here
