Pammukkale/Ephesus

Hi all,

Already learned loads here, and with only 10 days to go (YIPPPEEEEEE!! ) and we are starting to think about what trips to go on when we arrive.

We are a party of three, myself, the other half, and my 12yr old daughter. ONe of the places we all really want to go to is Pammukkale, and Im also quite keen to see Ephesus. Im just wondering if anyone here has done the overnight trip, and is it worth it, as opposed to going to Ephesus one day and Pammukkale another?

Any other trips you recommend are also very welcome!

Hi i would like to recomend you do a day in Datca there is a market on a saturday & the beach is great the Sea you can walk out & the water does not seem to get any deeper It is an unspoilt town. We do a trip there each year. I dont know if any tours do this trip as there is 11 of us & we hire a mini bus. But i know there is a servis bus from Marmaris that goes there. Also a few years ago we went to Kleopatra's BEACH which is well worth a visit but make sure it is the BEACH that you book & not the bay. Happy holiday to you all wish we were still there instead of wet & cold U.K. at this moment in time.

highly recomend the two day trip,well worth the money,very well organised.first day is quite long, plenty of stops though.glad we did it.

hi my wife and i did the 2 day ephesus and pamukale trip with icr 4 years ago, it was fab probably the best trip we have ever done. Dont get me wrong its a long trip, but you stop off at loads of places as well as pamukale and ephesus, ie carpet factory, onyx factory pottery and a feww other places, we got midday meal and evening meal the first day and breakfast and midday meal the second, we stayed in a resonable hotel at pamukale. with nice views of the cotton castles. it is one of the few trips we would do again, apart from the boat trips, of which we love. we will be in icmeler on the 27th sept so may see you. here are some pics of our ephesus pamukale 2 day trip
