Postby cockney boy » 14 Aug 2012 13:53

Hi were we thinking of staying at the sun club village in icmeler next year, we usually stay in marmaris but thought icmeler looked a real nice place, has anyone stayed there and is it far from the centre of icmeler. Hope someone can give me any reviews thanks Ian

Hey cockney boy, met you on the boat trip. You should have asked scousefitz as he was staying there the other week. By all accounts and his daily blogs it sounds brilliant. Its classed as the old village but its only a 7 minute walk into the town i.e past the office and that way. There are a small amount of apartments, all over looking the pool and a bar area. What more do you need eh!!

We have stay here twice last year and are going back for our second trip this year on the 13 Sep. fab family run place. Good sized apartments which are cleaned everyday except Sun though they do come round and empty the bins. Staff are all excellent and u are not hassled to spend your hard earned money with them, although the food is very good and of a high standard. Nothing is to much trouble for Ibo and his staff. It is about a 10 min walk to the centre and you have some very good resturants very close by. If you do decide to book you won't be disapointed. If i can help in any way please ask.

Cockney Boy, CSV and sun village are two separate places. Both in the Old Village, and owned by the same people. Also, both are ICR apartments. We stayed at CSV in July/Aug and we absolutely loved it. Service, room, food, bar, pool, and most of all, staff were all fantastic. Sun Village is smaller, with only a small ish pool, but it depends what you're after I guess. You'll see more of what we thought of CSV on my blog. Cheers, Paul
