Yes arrival home was good thanks juju
As you said if you look at the previous posts i did have concerns
First the positives the location of melita is superb the pool is a good size with plenty of sun beds and to be fair the apartments are very spacious with a great lay out and two balconies the young lads in the bar were very friendly and we got on with them realy well
We checked in went to our room i opened the fridge to see if it was cold and got an electric shock the maintanance man arrived and sorted it straight away i noticed the walls and cielins were very grubby and covered in squashed insects and asked my wife if she wanted to leave we decided to give things a chance but two days later the room was full of ants went for some spray and sorted them then found half a pavket of crisps under the chair from previous guests so cleaned up and had no more bother we had blood stained bedding threadbare towels and the rooms were in general disrepair with light switches hanging out of the wall
To be fair we did make the best of it and i did visit
icr office to voice my concerns and i admit i told them i didnt want to move as we had sorted the ant problem and we had met people who were staying there plus our son loved the large pool
We got endless hassle from the head barman even though we spent quite a bit of money there every time we went out and came back most of the bsr staff had left then the head barman left and the lads came back which seemed a bit strange
Just to top everything off on our next to last day in the middle of the afternoon with the pool full of kids and us adults sitting in the bar with a nice cold efes a rat came out from under the first floor balcony and wass running around the pool area what made this even more unbelievable was the manager sent the young lad from the bar to chase it with a sweeping brush while he stood and watched with a big grin on his face
Its a real shame whats happening at the melita because it could be realy nice if looked after propely
