Getting married in Icmeler

Postby noodles1609 » 15 Jul 2012 15:13

Just wondering - has anyone got married in Icmeler? If so, did you book a package? Did you do it yourself? Where do you start!?! Up to now we've discounted it as my Dad doesn't enjoy good health and gets quite stressed from travelling, but he's having an op soon that might resolve a lot of his issues and he's talking about getting a passport - so it could be back on the cards for 2014. Not really got any idea where to start, I've read something about needing to go to Izmir for papers?

Does anyone have any advice? :)

Hi noodles
If you type in married in the search box here you will find info. re. getting married in Icmeler. If you find someone who has done this you could send them a private message asking for info. Whilst there this year 2 couples from our accommodation got married and seemed to have a wedding planner there arrange it for them. Best of luck and hope this info is helpful.

I have never doubted it, but there has been a little bit of talk on another thread recently about it not being as friendly as it used to be on here - I didn't comment there, but have to say now on here - THANK YOU - what an absolutely lovely bunch of folk you all are, for your replies and your assistance.

I really do hope we can book this (should know by Christmas after Dad's op), we met in Icmeler and both want to get married there, but I also want my Mum and Dad there to share our day, fx it'll all work out. And if it does - you're all invited! :D

Hi Susan

Thank you for the offer, I can't mail you privately on here and don't really want to put my email address directly as the bots will get hold of it! Can you mail me through here if you don't mind, it will come to my email address.

And congratulations! :D
