Beach Bag

Postby sunseeker2011 » 12 Jul 2012 10:54

Can anyone recommend a good beach-bag - must be fairly big as will be taking 3 beach towels, sun cream, camera, money etc...

We had a good one last year we got as a wedding present but was starting to get a bit tatty so we threw it out last year. It had a separate little zip-up pouch inside, ideal for camera and money and the whole inside was waterproof plastic lining.

Something similar to that would be ideal. It was also plain black as I'm not a fan of 'poncy' flowery designs lol

Primark!? They sell large zip bags in different designs - I use for my "take on board" bag and it fits a lot inside.

It also doubles as my beach bag.... I just have another little water-proof bag to put purse/ camera etc inside within the larger bag when I'm down on the beach!!

I looked at those John but I don't think they'll be big enough (3 beach towels, sun cream, books, camera, money etc.)

I got a really nice one in Debenhams this year. It is blue and white striped so quite nautical. It was £22 but can be washed when you get back if you've got sand or sun lotion on it over the holiday.

I use my Itsa - it's a beach towel with loads of pockets in it for all your stuff -including a large zipped pocket - and it all folds up into a bag. Problem sorted!

I would like these too, and if available in resort, then all the better.
Any info/ prices/ where to buy etc

I got mine from the Itsa website - www.theitsa.com - you also get similar ones called Loungermates which you can buy on Amazon. You can probably buy cheaper fakes too, but honestly, I would say my Itsa has been worth every penny.
