Hotel 47

Postby Jay Trip » 09 Jul 2012 20:51

Has anyone stayed at this hotel since it reopened?
My friend stayed here a few years ago and would like to return.
I notice its available on ICR but the past reviews are not good.

Not actually stayed there but it's one of those hotels you can't help noticing for some reason, and it's on our route for a walk up to the viewpoint overlooking Icmeler (where there is now a gorgeous cafe). Couldn't help but notice this year that it's had what looks like a lot of money spent on it, it looked really lovely from the outside, enough for me to check it out for staying next time round. There were 3 people in the entrance as we walked by, who very pleasantly passed the time of day with us. Enough to make an impact to find out more - I think it's new owners, which makes the old reviews a bit void.

I hope someone has stayed here and it is as lovely, cause it certainly looked like it would be :)

We got back from Icmeler 2 weeks ago - stayed at Gondol just down from Hotel 47. We were pleased to see it open again as it was 1st hotel in Icmeler we ever stayed in. Didnt go in this time though. They were advertising rooms at 25 Lira a night - we were told that it was mostly Turkish people staying there at the moment.
