Canal stalls

Just wondered how the canal stalls were doing, I know there are finished but somebody posted that not many were taken really missed them last year somewhere to walk and browse before eating. Well at least the underground market is back and the new shops last year were nice, does anyone no if the man selling the DVDs who was on the end of the canal, had a shop last year across road from tandoori sizzler is still there, always get our DVDs from him nice man.

yes he is still there passed him last week and he seemed quite busy

BEN has leased the shop for 3 years so he will be there next year as well. I was talking to him and business wise he prefers the shop to the stall. He is a very nice guy.

Good to hear he s still there ,my son will be pleased he can get a new supply of dvds

Can anybody that has just returned from Icmeler let us know what kind of stalls are at the Canal now?

The lady from the shop next to Broadway is there selling toys and beach stuff, the lady who used to have the ceramics by the loos is there, a few jewellers, boxer shorts and dvds, shoes, handbags, a cafe, souveniers and magnets, sunglasses, perfumes - pretty much what there used to be down there!

Does anyone know if the jewellery guy is still in his shop or back on the canal. He had a shop last year near friends bar

There was still a lot of the units closed when we was there last week

Would it be possible for anyone who is there to post some photos.Also of the revised underground market would be good.
