Icmeler's Appeal stays with all generations.

We first came to Icmeler in 2002 after being persuaded by friends to visit Turkey with them, to be honest we were not that keen but in the end we were persuaded, well we have been back every year (apart from 2004) since.

My daughter has just finished her first year of Uni and where has she decided to go for her first holiday without parents, yes you guessed it Icmeler, she has dragged her boyfriend with her and they have already got me to book them flights with us for next year.

I'm glad she chose Icmeler as we have friends there in case of issues, also I was able to book their accomodation and transfers through ICR with the help of John so know they will be looked after while there.

Her plane landed 5 minutes late just over two hours ago so I'm just waiting for the text to say they have arrived at the hotel.

I remember John posting a couple of years ago how the children of the first visitors to Icmeler were now booking independantly and how they were now starting to bring there own young children and starting the circle again, well it's now starting to happen with my children so it only shows how special Icmeler continues to be what every the age.

It`s very hard to pinpoint why Icmeler has got such great appeal.We have been coming every year since 1999, sometimes twice a year, and it just pulls you back every year.Personally i love the Turkish people which in my book makes the holiday even better.

Like others have said before some of us have been coming with our children for many years (1989). All three of our kids have had holidays with us in Icmeler, that was until this year, when our youngest (George, 17) stated that he would rather not come with us on holiday this year,, i cant think why not!! But hey ho mandy and keith are thinking wild holiday this year with no kids CRAMPING our style!!, but then someone suggusts we take Ben our grandson(3). We have now completed the full circle cause Richard was 3 first time we came to Icmeler and now we will be bringing his son Ben with us this year. He has been going everyweek for swimming lessons and he is all excited and cant wait for his holidays in August, just like his Granddad!!
