Does anyone know if you can bring spirits into turkey that
you dont buy in duty free and do you have to declare it

im sure you can take a bottle of spirits in your suitcase and i wouldnt think you would have to declare it if the seal was still on

We often take a box of wine and a bottle of brandy in the case I've never been stopped to be honest I never gave it a thought.

Even if you have paid tax in the UK any spirits you take count towards your allowance as Turkey is not part of the EU.
I have never declared anything and in ten years I have never seen anyone stopped but ultimately the decision is yours.
I like the idea of taking a box of wine for the apartment as we don't like the wine over there.
