Allowances

Hi all,this is not won of those' how much am i allowed to bring into or take back' questions that you get asked quite abit on this forum but can anyone answer this for me? If i buy my allowance coming into Dalaman and still have some left when i am returning to the UK do i have to declare it or can i still take my full allowance back on top of what i have left over,if that makes any sense,thanks.

Strictly speaking your suppose to declare it but if you only have a few packs of fags left over or a part bottle of spirits I can't see there being a problem, it's obvious your not trying to smuggle, I never count the left overs when I come back.
