Activities Icmeler

Postby blogger » 05 Jun 2012 17:28

Hi

We love Icmeler - this will be our 4th year - but we are going with a chap who isnt a big fan, he thinks Icmeler is boring with only sunbathing to offer.

I am looking for suggestions for trips or excursions ( that dont cost the earth) to tempt him with.

Thanks

Hi Blogger :D

I would you buy him a days pass on the Dolmus and show him the bus stop at 8am. Problem solved

Gypsy beach is a good one - check our the excursions page (link at the top) to see some of the other things. You could do the walk into Marmaris and get the water taxi back (or vice versa), get the water teaxi to Turunc and dolmus back, go and have a proper Turkish breakfast at places like Asparan or Cinar, or how about the walk to the flag? Just a few suggestions....

May I suggest leaving this chap at home! Lets face it- if he is bored at Icmeler he must be bored with life. Victor Meldrew's clone perhaps?
Quite honeslty though if he doesnt like it there perhaps an activity holiday elsewhere? Icmeler is very hard not to like but is not for everyone.

Hi,

We are coming over in 5 weeks and counting! We have planned so far to take a coastal walk to Marmaris and a few days at the water parks. Not sure how the heat will affect us yet as we are from Scotland so aren't used to continuous glorious weather! Can't wait to experience it though !!!
