love finding lira in my holiday purse

i have just found 110 lira in my holiday purse really excited now with 35 days to go how many effes will i be able to buy with that .Has anyone else ever found lira like this

Lovely feeling aint it, we always just put the holiday wallet away when we get back. never check how much is left, started sorting out for this months trip and found it had 820 lire in in ,thinking back we were getting 2.85 when we changed it up last year..Rog

Hi all,i was over the moon 2 or 3 year ago to discover 300lira in my holiday wallet and saying that i hadnt been to icmeler the previous year thought it was a going to be a great start to my hols,but happiness soon turned to dismay when i tryed to buy some tobacco at dalaman airport and was told it was no longer legal tender as they had changed to new turkish lira and it was to late to change it,what a gutter eh

Although OH has some lira left from last year, I have a 1 lira coin in my holiday purse which I often look at - seems to bring me closer to my hols!!

im not lucky to find any lira but i did find my best sunglasses which i thought i had left there
