Tandoori Sizzler Pre-Season Party

Postby JT » 27 Mar 2012 12:42

Hakan asked me to let people know that his first party night this year is 21st April and all are welcome members, residents of Icmeler and of course tourists in the resort.

Set menus as follows

This is a one off early season price of 25 Lira per person for all this type of food

Beer will be 4 Lira on the night and local spirits and wines will also be on offer price of 6.5 Lira.

CHINESE: Starters are Hot and Sour soup and Prawn Crackers, Sesame prawn toast and Spring Roll, chinese salad and 3 different sauces and you will not have a choice of these, you will have all of them.

Main courses are a choice of at least 20 kinds of Chinese chicken dishes cooked freshly per person (so not made up before hand in a giant pan so please be aware that this will be a proper service) and egg fried or boiled rice.

INDIAN: Starters are Onion Bhaji, Meat Samosa, Chicken Tikka Starter, salad garnish and 2 different sauces and again this is not a choice you will have all of them.

Main courses are any Indian chicken dishes from the menu which there are many different styles from Korma to Vindaloo, Pilau rice or boiled rice is also included.

Turkish: Starters are mixed starter Meze plate and bread.

Main Courses: Adana Kebab, Urfa Kebab, Beyti Kebab, Chicken Shish Kebab, Chicken Wings on the skewer and Lambs Liver Shish Kebab with salad garnish.

I Will definitely be there on the night myself in of course just to make sure that the food tastes as good as it was last year

Well done John! Thanks for making an exceptional effort to ensure that the interests of all the members is looked after. The heavy weight of responsibility on your shoulders never ceases to amaze me. How you manage to live with all the pressure I just don't know. You are just a martyr to the cause.

Looks like a cracking menu.

Give our regards to the lad's please.

25th May to 1st June for us.

Might it be an idea to tie it with the proposed 'Forum Meet Up' on 29th May ? for which the Sizzler has been suggested.

Mind you I'd be just as happy with 2 curries that week :D

Pete.

I was wondering if there may be some more of these party nights JT as you say that Haken has called it "First party night". Do you think he may have another "Height of season party night" in say,,,, between August 17 and August 31. Having had a look at Genes list for forum members in Icmeler in August, i think there could be a few takers.
