The Street

There is hardly any movement on the windy rainswept street tonight.
The wellcoming lights shining from Harrys Restaurent tantalising and inviting.
This is a long way from the hot heady nights of August when people were bustling and trying to wave to the camera on this very same corner.

But I would sooner be over there waving to you than in front of my computor gazing down that street and thinking.
