Kurt or Bahar

Postby lauren_jayne » 15 Aug 2011 17:01

Hi There,

Just looking for some advice we can't decide on apartments to stay in this year.. due to our normal one being fully booked.
The most common ones coming up are Kurt or Bahar does anyone have any views and which would be best?
Any information would be great.

Thank you :)

My mum stayed in the Bahar in June and to be honest I would give it a miss. We were meant to be staying at it in September but after seeing round it in June we cancelled and booked else where.

I would also give the Kurt a miss as owners son who seems to run the place is downright rude and moneygrabbing. There is a thread on here somewhere and quite a few have complained. If you spend a lot of money on drink and food and book boat trips with him he is fine but if you dont woe betide you if you attempt to go anywhere else. He followed us up the road asking why we were not staying and eating at the Kurt. Great apartments and big pool but he is a nightmare. Everyone else was great but while he is there I will never stay there again.

i stayed in the bahar last september and would recommend, has a nice size pool, a bar, good food friendly staff and clean rooms and we always managed to get a sunbed, what else do u need. only downfall is its on a un lit road and a bit of a walk to the main bars and resturant
i didnt have any complaints from there and would stay there again if i had to. we all have different opinions so this is mine. where ever you stay you will have a great time :-)

We stayed in the Kurt and found it to be spotlessly clean and a lovely sized apartment and pool. There are new reviews up for the Kurt from this year and all are saying the son is not hassling now :)

I have to agree with Jozzyd. I stayed at the Kurt in June for 2 weeks and after reading the reviews was a bit concerned. The room was kept spotless and the pool was lovely, although it was deep. i didn't get any hassle there and i never heard of anyone else having a problem while i was there. I would go back there again.

Stayed in Devamli x 3 and decided we needed a change. Stayed at Kurt apart last Septembber and it was fine - old Mr Kurt no bother, son can easily be ignored with just a polite hello sufficing. We are going to Pinewood in 4 weeks and booked for next year at Kurt so echo others thoughts that it isnt bad at all. No info on the other place Bahar but Kurt defo clean and tidy, good pool and food at the bar nice too. I would recommend to anybody.
