Late(ish) Arrival in Icmeler

Postby Tiberius » 05 Aug 2011 13:03

Hi All,

Due to having to organise alternative flights for our holiday in a couple of weeks were now going to be arriving into the resort at around 11-12midnight provided there's no issues or delays.

Judging by what i've read on the forum the majority of places will have stopped serving food long before this point. Are there any late night food outlets in the resort at all.....even if it were Mcdonalds it would do I suppose :-S

Were going to be staying at the Ince Apts in the Old Village if that helps.

Many Thanks.

Im not sure were the ince apartments are but we have stayed in the village 3 times over the years and the staff have always been happy to get something delivered from a take away. Stuff like chicken wrap, burgers etc

I dont think you will have any problem getting something to eat when you arrive - everyone is only too pleased to serve you at any time.

Why not have a meal at the airport in UK, before flying, if you are concerned?

Thanks for the replies. 8)

We most likely will eat in the airport before flying but the flight leaves at 14.50 so it'd be quite some time before we eat again properly should we not have been able to get something when we arrived in Icmeler that was the only concern

Tiberius

Last year we arrived in Icmeler about 3am but still managed a bottle of effes (24 hour shop) and a meal (24 hour kebab) shop. You will have no trouble at all.

I'd just have a good cooked meal at lunchtime and then just pack extra munchies in your hand luggage... helps pass journey time as well as keeping hunger pangs at bay - that's what I did in May and we didn't get to resort until 3am, we're on the same flight in September so will do the same then.

Excitement usually over-takes hunger anyway. You can always get up early the next day and have a big breakfast.
