There is defintely a catch in all of this. Companies that went bust with in the last 2 years (no need to mention names) both have gone under 80 days before the season was over. That means they have collected everyone's balance payments. What a great way to cash in for the stomachless...!!
What is worse, Aegean were offering flight tickets for £60 to
Dalaman for any date next year for any length of period. We did wonder first but after having been reassured , we even sent out thousands of SMS messages costing our company some bucks so to let people know about this deal. We were not earning a penny from comissions for flights what so ever since the end of 2010 but the fact that customers having cheap flights would give them more freedom to choose which place they want to stay in thus as a company we could take advantage of it for the time being. (Simple business sense with no dishonesty)
Devistating as it is, we were fooled by them even to the last minute. Onur Air selling their flights through a new company just after 24 hours is also suprising enough for me.
For all of that went on, I even gave an interview to an author of a national newspaper in Turkey which in his article gives a reference to my statement that questions these companies causing losses to all of us consiciously.

If they are in financial trouble, authorities know of this a long time ago but somehow a deal gets made and you as a customer, us as an agent get ripped off at the end of the day.
Someone needs to put a stop to all of this dirty games in the industry.
