after XL went bust all the companies inflated the existing flights till they all were all more or else sold, then added new flights cheaper and often with better timings, its a gamble though.

Us to, £1100 for 3 flights from Belfast July 2012, looks like I am going to have to book it as we only have them and Thomson who fly from Belfast now and the likely hood is that they will go up. Wouldn't be in a rush only we have our apartment all sorted and it's one that suits my daughters needs.
Looks like only 1 trip next year at those prices.

In my humble opinion these competitive airline companies are just as bad as the 'Crooks' formerly known as Holidays4u. Capitalising on other peoples misery is the lowest of the low behind actually selling you the flight/holiday the day before going bust.

I managed to book alternative flights with Jet2 yesterday at an extra £100 each to our original flights. The same flights this morning with Jet2 are an extra £200 to what we were paying with Onur Air...... UNBELIEVABLE!!

I was going to book for next June this weekend.I had looked at Aegean but they only start flying from bournemouth at the end of July and then the accomodation is more expensive.I had sorted what I want and would have done that with ICR.The only other flights from Bournemouth that I could find for next year are Th*****s.They do the dates in June I want and all in all with the cheaper price on accomodation it worked out the same....not anymore, just looked and two flights will cost us almost £200 more. That is appalling. So I am going to wait!

Yes Sue we had flights booked with Aegean for Next June and September.

We also had flights booked with them for 27 Sep this year, but 3 weeks ago we had a call from them saying that they were cancelling them due to lack of interest and that they needed our credit card details to return the money, which was in our account 2 days later. Boy did I give out back then, but I am now glad they did. We managed to book flights with Thomson flying out the day before with good times. 3 weeks ago they only cost us an extra £45 for each flight, today it would cost us an extra £175 for each flight.

Booked today with Easyjet, Bristol to Dalaman, Sept 25th for 15 days - £500, but at least I know I am going now.

On the plus side, its less sleeps

I had booked with Aegean for next May, 2 flights were just under £300. paid by credit card so should be OK. Booked last night with JET2.com and for the same flights its just over £500 for the 2 flights. JET2 surcharges are ridiculous, credit card fee £18 booking fee, £18 and online check in another $40. What a rip off

its a joke the other companies should have to freeze their prices for 72 hours after a collapse of another company
everyone would think a lot more of them if they did this and would probably get more bookings
they think that they are being clever but they aren't
hope everyone is managing to find what they are looking for
