beach activities

Postby jonnyb19782 » 16 Jul 2011 22:43

What kind of beach activities or water sports are there in icmeler and has anyone any rough prices.

Read about a wipeout sort of thing. An inflatable assault course for the kid in the sea.

Any ideas?

hi jonny
the total wipeout type of thing looks great - last year it was at the turunc end of the beach and looks like great fun. Think it was around a tenner
there's parasailiing, pedalos, jetskis and speedboat hire too
jetskis tend to be away from the beach and they take you to them on a speedboat

no idea on prices, other than to say they aren't cheap

Sorry- cant help. My only activities on the beach are putting sun tan lotion on, getting a tan, reading, paddling in the sea and drinking lol!
Am sure someone will answer your queries though as I have seen a lot of people having fun doing activities, the banana boat looks great. I did go on a speedboat one year and it broke down and was way out at sea with the guy fixing the engine with front end of the little boat right up out of the water while he fixed it at the back- that did it for me, first and last time!

that's just reminded me of the year our girls took a pedalo out and it was too windy for them to pedal back - they got towed back by a speedboat hahaha

Oh dear- bet that was scary. They could have ended up in another resort without meaning to go!

Chocoholic has the right idea. All these activities sound as though too much effort may be required.. Applying sun tan cream to mandys back on a morning and a gentle stroll to sun bed are my daily routines!!

the kids were worried at the time and it would have been for us too Choco if we'd realised they were waving in alarm rather than just to say hello hahaha

I also enjoy just swimming, sun tanning and people watching :D
The teenagers from our party tried all kinds of water sports. We bargained the prices and ended paying 75 lira for tandem parasailing (total for 2 girls), sofa and ringos maybe 15 lira each.

What comes to other activities, of course there's also beach massage available, but didn't ask the price as it's not the kind of massage I'd like to have.
