The first year we went my two girls were 6 and 10 and they loved turtle beack and the mud baths si I would recommend them, just be careful if they go in the sulphur pool, the one we went to went deep quickly but it may have changed since 2002.

If they enjoy swimming, they might well enjoy the lazy day boat trips, as they make several stops where you can go swimming off the boat.

And if they are not good swimmers most boats will let them use a life jacket when they are swimming.

My two love the boat trips and have done so since we have been going however they both swim like a fish, the youngest even had her mile swimming badge by the time she was six, the eldest was asked to train for the 2012 olympics when she was 11 but she didn't like the sound of the hours she would need to put in and more importantly getting up at 5.30am every morning to get two hours training in before school.

I'm thinking of training for the efes drinking championships 2011. The hours are great no getting up at 5.30am, I'm still comatised at that time. It's long hours though, but you do actually get swimming breaks now and again. At the end of all the training the reward is being able to talk utter crap to your missus or anybody else who is willing to listen.
