Is there a nice swimming pool near the Dilhan Hotel.....

Postby Chris221273 » 27 Jun 2011 09:25

......of which the owners wouldn't mind us using?
Obviously we would buy drinks and most probably have snacks there too.
Would just like one that's close enough to the Dilhan to be able to pop back to our room if needed.
Thanks
Chris

Hi John,
The pool at the Dilhan is one depth all the way round, so unless your 6ft+ tall and/or a good swimmer it's a no go zone.
Sadly myself and my partner are niether!! :-(

hi

the pool at Vinces is a good one, always in the sun and they have a shallow end.

The beach is quite close - have you thought of that?

Hi,
Yeah I know the beach is fairly close, and although I don't intend on lounging by the pool all day, it would have been nice to have the use of the pool at our hotel and not have to take everything we need out with us. But as the Dilhan pool is out of the question it would be nice to use a pool that's nice and close to the hotel so we can just pop back to the room if need be :-)

Hi Chris, i love swimming but do not like to be out of my depth (which is hard at only 4ft 11ins  ) so now i buy a long foam thingy and it no longer bothers me even use it on boat trips only costs a few lira and i then leave it behind hope this helps :D

The pool at the Selen2 is large and they wouldn't mind you using it.

The nearest pool to you with a shallow end would be Vinces which is just across the road.

I still can't see the Dilhan :-(
So many red and blue bubbles on the map they block the hotel names!

Chris Scroll down the list on the left and find Dilhan hotel then click on it, it will zoom in on the hotel position
You can also use the + and - on the zoom feature.

Hi steve,
Does it now show the name like it does with other hotels?
I've clicked on Dilhan and it returns to the page but it just shows an area, with lots of buildings, and no writing saying Dilhan!!
Am I being thick?
