They were in a big open pound when I last saw them, tied up but on very very long leads. However they all seemed very happy and looked very well fed.

They are though very greatfull for anything we give them :D

Hi Chris,

I went to the doghouse last year on a couple of occasions and walked up to 18 dogs with my partner, not all at once i might add. They have plenty of space and are not caged. Some are seperated for various reasons but they are very happy and very well cared for by Jan and Semin. When i visited last year they had recently built the doghouse but since then they have put a roof on it and put wooden fencing around the outskirts. The dogs come in all shapes and sizes and are very happy to see new people.
I have been raising money for the doghouse by doing car boot sales and my doggie friends at my local park have given me donations. I have raised £375 so far which will help with the vets fees etc. I have also sent 3 parcels out to Icmeler containing leads, collars, treats and toys but they would prefer NOT to have anymore TOYS as the vets say these can carry germs from dog to dog which makes sense. They always need lead and collars though and obviously the dogs love the treats.
I can't wait to go back in August :D

If im right, if you follow the canal, up through the old village you will come to a junction which takes you to the main road to Turunc on your right hand side. There is a steak restaurant on the left with a big supermarket beside it . If you keep walking to the left, with the mountains at your side, you should come to a bridge, and there is a bottled water factory on your left. I think the dogs home is in that area. If not then please ignore this thread and blame me for getting you totally lost heheheheh  :?
Enjoy your holiday

Hi Neets 36,

If you are unsure where to find the doghouse you could always go to the 3 bells on the top road and ask for Peter(Pedro) who does the karoke then he will also arrange for someone to be at the doghouse to meet you or sometimes he will go with you.
You will love see all the dogs, they are so loving and they love seeing people. I can't wait to go and see them in August.

Hi to everyone this is Jan from the dogs home just been uk for time with family and getting things for making money for the dogs, thanks to wendy for the money she raises its such a help, while in uk I had some banners made to put up at my table sales, also we are now allowed a pitch on the market not seen it yet but will be doing my best to be there selling what evr i can beg steal and borrow !!!! I am very busy now as Semin is very unwell so just me and 1 part time man to look after all the dogs, when i have time i will go and see the nice people at Icmeleronline who are very good to us and discuss wher people can leave what ever they want maybe what they bring or what they want to leave behoind after hols, books towels shampoos sun lotion anything it will all sell for something, also if you are a 3 bells customer they will see it gets to me, will try and make a regular pick up day, there is a new 3 bells opening opposite Babadan apts near Tomatoe pizza Pete will be aroing somewhere, anyone who wants to meet me and come to the home are very welcome, i dont have much time to spend on the internet so ask at Icmeleronline or 3 bells I will give them my mob nos , later on this year i may set up a Icmeler dogs home group on Facebook and put photos and info about all the dogs maybe i can get sponsors ( online adoption ) but again time is a problem for me, maybe one day the powers that be might give us more help I wish !!
Directions to us go up past Romance and New 3 bells follow all the way up to traffic lights turn left walk to a bridge the Miami bar is opposite turn right and follow all the way to the top then come to o t junction Tommys bar on your left , turn left road to Turunc walk up past builders yard the home is on the left very big depot Pinnar next to us look for high wooden fence, and just listen you will hear them hope to see you all.
One more comment the dogs are not chained up they rune free at different times , according to size, the large dogs and i mean large! are sometimes on long chains by their kennels this is for safety when we are away from them, just in case something kicks off, you can never say never, saftey first. but the smaller dogs are free to run in groups , all dogs have a kennel which is now covered in to protect frrom the rain and the sun , no dog ever spends it time locked up so bye for now try and keep you upto date thanks for your interest and support Jan and Semin and all dogs xx

Just a short one today if anyone wants to bring anything over, collars and leads various sizes , and if you have £1 shops near you they sell packet of dog treats all types we can never afford to buy them here, and they are gone in 60 seconds lol, harness are not very practical as we need collars on the dogs at all times if we leave harness on they get caught up on the trees etc, we are not allowd toys the vtes are against as infection spreads very quickly when you ahve so many dogs, all chew the same toys I would love to let them play but !!! over ruled and it makes sense.

Bye for now thanks Jan
