Anyone know the best place to buy a leather jacket for 16+ sizes?

My friend bought a leather jacket from a place in the bazaar in Marmaris, sorry dont know which shop but a walk around will find it. They had a very great selection of all different types, fashion, biker etc for men or women with a good selection of sizes. The sleeves were too long so they sat us down, gave us a drink for half an hour or so whilst the sleeves were altered at no extra charge. Do haggle though and you will get a good price. We were loaded up with shopping and they lent us a young man to carry our things and he accompanied us on the dolmus right to our apartment and would not take any tip. Thats service you would not get here!

I can recommend Moreno Leather. From the ICR office walk down towards the beach it is in the parade of shops near the fountains. You can get any coats, jackets hand made to your own design in top quality leather. The lady will look after you. Her husband who also made leather coats with her, died last September. I and my wife have used this shop for many years and always been more than satisfied.

Enjoy

I can recommend Milano Leather - in the bazaar in Marmaris. It's just off the main walkway/entarnce from the harbour. It's owned by a friend of mine, I had a look at his jackets when I was there a couple of weeks ago, there's all sizes, shapes, colours, I don't need one but would have had a hard job choosing if I was in the market for one!
It's worth a look.

My husband bought a lovely leather jacket in Kerwin leather shop in the Bazaar in Marmaris in 1993!
Its still as good as new and when he wears it people ask him where he bought it.
Last October while wandering around the Bazaar the owner stopped him and asked if he wanted another coat in a different colour.
I remember sitting for a long time in the shop and after many glasses of apple tea we finally agreed a price.
I still dont know how they remember people after all those years?

Thanks all for the suggestions. Will have to wear it on the way home though because of the luggage restrictions :)
