Loveboat!

in all the years we have been visiting Icmeler ,we have visited loveboat twice and i have to say it is certainly no better foodwise than the majority of restaurants,i also thing the same about the waterfall ,the location and ambience is superb but the food no better than lots of other places.

I agree that the Loveboat is a brilliant restaurant. It's different from many of the others in presentation and variety of food. We stay in the Devamli when we visit Icmeler and Serden has always been the front man as far as we can remember (4 years). Anyone know if he's working there this year?

Yes Serden is there this year and as hospitable as ever.

We've always gone to the Loveboat at least once during our visits, and last time was no exception, but I have to say we thought the standards had slipped a bit this year. The prices had gone up a fair bit, but the food and service wasn't as good as in the past. Might just have been an "off" night, but I'd think twice about paying the extra next time. We had a better meal, and excellent service, in a restaurant on the canal, but I can't remember the name of it.

Was the restaurant you are talking about on the canal, just opposite dream Boys, if so it is Dolce Vita and I agree the food and service is great

Dolce Vita, yes, that was it! I knew it was Italian sounding. It beat Loveboat hands down, and was a lot cheaper.

My patner alway insists we have at last one meal in the Loveboat during our stay and in the past has always been excellent food and service. I hope the standards do match previous years as that'll be our "posh" night where I will have to behave
