i would say go for it. i always give an honest as possible review based on my personal experience. if a place has over charged you more than once id like to know. im not saying i would avoid the place but would be wary. this might even identify a place doing this regular if more people say they were over charged at the same place.

cheers

We've never been overcharged. We once left a bar without paying the first year we visited Icmeler, we just simply forgot as we'd had a few. We returned there next night feeling a little embarrassed, they just laughed and said 'No problem.' I don't think that we'd have had that reaction at home, we'd probably have had the police on our doorstep by the time we got home

Not been back since 2007 and had one or two problems with romance till I nearly throttled the then owner/manager love the place people and would not want to offend.. But the thought of anyone trying it on makes my blood boil... And yes I know the brill restraunts outshine the ones to avoid so please don't jump on me for posting this !!!

It must depend on how many people are in the party and how the bill is split. Normally we have a large party of 10 and the bill split into family 1, 2 & 3.

Over the years we've been to a fair few restaurants and the majority of times at least one of our parties bills has had to be over changed as the odd drink has crept on. This is sometimes understandable due to the amount of people ordering different drinks etc and is always sorted out with an apology.

Dragon - reminds me of the Chill Bar a few years ago. Went there every two or three days for lunch but on one occasion the bill was much more than expected. On querying the waiter simply said 'Oh, you forgot to pay the last time you were here'. When we thought about it he was right. I felt very embarrassed but at the same time I was pleased that I had been trusted. I would have felt far worse had a waiter chased me down the street as I hadn't paid.
