we gave in and bought some lira today got 2.56 at marks and spencer asda only offering 2.39 shocking

Just looked online for M and S and it's 2.495 to the pound so looks like it's starting to drop.

My son called in to the travel agents this morning to enquire what their rate was was Turkish Lira and they quoted a measly 2.30. When he said M&S were offering 2.52 they immediately changed their rate to match it. It seems that even in the UK you have to barter to get a good rate.
