My wife takes quite a lot of medication, does she a a letter from the Doctor telling customs what they are for , any advise would be appreciated .

as long as the meds are in a pharmacy printed bottle / container with her name on then there are no probs , we take quite a few meds each time and have never had a problem

I also take medications, but dont take any doctors letters. I have carried a repeat prescription with me in the past, but they never looked at it.

I always take the part I get with my repeat prescription as it is a list of what medication I am on even when I have only needed one item on the attaching prescription. I have only had to show it once in all the years I have been going but is best to be safe than maybe held up until sorted and explained.

I am diabetic and take 4 injections a day. Also on 5 tablets in the morning. Need to take my blood monitor and lancets etc. I get a letter free of charge from my hospital clinic to take with me or my Doctor can provide one around £15. I always take something with me. Better to be safe than sorry.
