We have just returned last Friday and had a brilliant holiday in
Icmeler as usual.
We stayed at The Ozlem Apartments and they were very nice, clean and spacious - we had the top floor room, so very private too and the staff and owners - Frank, Cherry and Peter were all very friendly and a good laugh around the bar - we ate there a couple of times and the food was excellent.
The resort looks very nice with the changes inc the beach prom area which is nice as the pillars have been replaced with flowers which is much better.
We ate at Charlies restaurant a couple of times - very nice especially the Liver & Onions, Murt Kebab place - very nice but extra spicy chicken kebab, Friar Tucks on the main road - this is owned by Christine (who has the Travellers Rest) a friend of ours and the food there was fantastic if you fancy some good old fashioned cooking or fish & chips, Ozlem Apartments etc - we ate a few times in apartment to keep the costs down especially breakfasts - the one thing I must say is definately do not eat at the Taj Mahal - I was up most the night ill after eating there - they are still advertising as Bradford chef but as I know the owner was from Wakefield and owned our local takeaway I know this is untrue.
Cafe Anne's cheesecake and waffles was delicious as usual.
Went to Mancunian Bar one night to watch a game and drank at various other bars, sevghi, Ida Lounge (a lovely place for a drink only)
We walked to
Marmaris one day which was lovely and went shopping in the bazzar.
All in all an excellent time was had and we have now just booked for July 2012 to stay at The Prestige Apartments with ICR.
