2nd year for me and my family

Postby tannedjulie » 08 May 2011 11:20

We went last year in june said we were having a heatwave it was that hot, we go this july staying in the moonlight which we loved, what i would like to know is i am worried it wont be as good as first time around never gone back to the same place twice, does it get better each year or do you go on holiday and think well last year was better, and will the weather be between 40 and 50 in july like it was in june last year.

Hi Julie,
It will be even better than it was the first time you will find the more you go the more you need Icmeler.

Completely agree with John V, I always say lets try somewhere different this year but always end up booking for Icmeler.

The weather in July will be HOT HOT HOT

One thing you will notice is that the holiday will seem longer as your not wasting time finding your bearings.

You will also find lots of waiters, barmen and staff who will not only remember you, but also your name.

Julie, we said that too. We always said we'd never keep going back to the same place on holiday year after year - and we never have, until we discovered Icmeler! Now we try to go twice a a year, and as others have said too, we keep discovering new places every time. It won't be as good as the last time you went - it'll be better! :D

Hi Julie,

Our first holiday in Icmeler was in 1997 and when we return once again the week after next it will be for the 22nd time.

We still find new places and go to, places we have not been to before and there are places we have always intended to go too but so far still have not got round to doing.

We are still fascinated with Icmeler and like meeting up with the many friends we have made here both British and Turkish and finding out the latest gossip,I think we know more about the goings on of Icmeler than our home place.

WE LOVE ICMELER........ and it only took the first time to find this out

We agree with the above and have been twice a year for many years, very sad we will not be going twice this year, after our May visit I have to have a knee and hip replacement so not even sure we will make next year yet :( :( :(

We look at the brochures every year thinking we should have a change. Then we put them away and book up for Icmeler. Our first visit to Turkey was to Marmaris and then found we got the dolmus into Icmeler every day. This will be our 10th year and I can't wait. Lovely people, sunshine and good food what more can you ask from a holiday.

It's our 3rd time this year, and I just get more and more excited year by year. I'm terrible at getting lost but I should hopefully have my bearings this time around.

I also wanted to visit different places in my summer holidays and what happened... Spent one holiday in Marmaris and then next three holidays in Icmeler and now hoping to book this summer holiday to Icmeler again! It's really a miracle how Icmeler just enchants you and you always want to go back!

Totally agree with everyone else we have been coming to Turkey for 12 years now our 1st visit to Icmeler was in 2000, our 1st visit to Turkey was Hisaronu we have been back there a couple of times and also Kusadasi a couple of times but inbetween we always come back to Icmeler. We were in Icmeler last year and realised it outshines all the rest :D so will be back again to our favourite place in august and already looking to book again next year :D :D
