Early or Late?

I try to visit twice a year.I go end of May and End of september usually. Went the end of October one year and everything was closing and it was too quiet. This year it is May and Aug for me.Cant wait to see everyone again as i have met so many nice people over the years who are now good friends. To all who are first timers, enjoy yourselves. Im sure it will not be your last visit.

We are flying out on Monday for 2 weeks.....Been to icmeler bout 8 times and have always gone May or September. Temperatures are great, Icmeler not too busy so can really get to know our hosts and make new Turkish friends. We find going at the beginning of the season is great fun coz all the boys are practising their routines and dance moves on us hahahah! All the accomadation wherever we stay is all fresh and new. Going in September is just as good, temperature is just right! Previous years meant that we were there at what was the end of the season so had fantastic bargains in all the shops. But the end of season has been stretched into Oct/Nov now,(which is great for Icmeler coz it keeps it alive for longer) however the bargains are still there. Just off to start packing yeahhhhhh!!!!!

when the kids were younger we used to go for two weeks in June with the family,and sneak in an us week in late September.now they go in June and we go for three weeks in September .bliss sheer bliss.

We go every year around 3rd week in August for 2 weeks. It is hot but we love it. We stay in Scotland so like to soak up as much sun as we can as we don't get that much here haha
