anyone staying at Castle Apts 1st 2 weeks in May?

Only 3 weeks till we come home to Icmeler!!!!! Soooooo Excited!!! Is anyone staying at Castle Apts May 2nd - 16th? Or have we got the place to ourselves...Really looking forward to exploring the old village as we have never stayed this far back before. Any recomendations....

You will have a great time at these apartments. They are usually fairly quiet when we go, the last week in May first in June. This will be our 4 visit to these apartments and the food there is also good

good restaurants nearby, Ozzys, although this will be under new ownership this year, Deja Vu, Cubana, Harry Rams, and the Pide place near to Sylvias is great for a lunch time snack

we stayed there for a week last May - they are nice and clean but basic... Oscar is lovely and not to forget Pippin (the dog)
We had a great time at The Castle - the location is fab - nice & quiet but no too far for entertainment - we are back in Icmeler staying at the Ozlem in May - this is our 13th time in Icmeler - so must be a great resort.....

We stayed at the OZLEM last year after having stayed at the Castle on 3 previous occasions. What a difference between the two apartments. The OZLEM are nice apartments but personally we found as did many others that unless you spent most of your time drinking at the pool and eating in their restaurant, the owners, Frank and Cherry would virtually ignore you. To be honest that did not bother us as we like to do our own thing. The Castle is most definetley the friendlier of the 2 apartments

Thanks for the info on Ozlem - we will be doing our own thing as been to Icmeler that many times now - we eat and drink wherever we want - it wont bother us either..... cheers

Thanks alot for your replies..soooo excited now! I have been off work for a few months following a knee op and have been very busy plotting our walks from the Castle to the center and how many bars and restaurants are on the way. Somehow I dont think we are going to get to the center very often hahahaha....

I would also like to add - you cant get any friendlier than Oz @ The Dilhan - what a star he is.... only prob is B & B and we prefer self catering....
