Carly I myselfe wont be going out again this year.
But it wont be long before the end of October is here and then most of us will become "Dreamers".
But it is through this site that we can still live our holidays past and look foreward to holidays new.
By keep posting on the site through the winter Icmeler is never far away.

Gene

I totally agree with you.

Last year was our first time in Turkey and we absolutely fell in love with Icmeler. It was recommended to us by a good friend of ours who visited at least twice a year. Unfortunately his trip to Icmeler last September was to be his last. He passed away in early May this year and his wife, son and grandson are going back next week to scatter his ashes in Icmeler. It was his dream to live there once he retired.

Anyway, on a brighter note, it was only after our holiday that I discovered this site. It has kept me going over the last 12 months leading up to this years visit last month.

Everytime I log on to this site, I feel I am in Icmeler experiencing the experiences with everyone else who has posted notes on the site.

Your photos are always a pleasure to look at. I loved this years photos of all the restaurants - aahh brought back memories.

Roll on next year - I hope.

Sorry for your loss but I have a sense of a little of how you feel - every time I read this site I feel a little bit closer to Icmeler. x

As I sit alone by the fireside, looking through my pictures of our holiday in Icmeler the emotions begin to rise.

The hurt becomes to much, and a lump forms in my throat and a tear in the eye.

I am missing my friends, and Turkey is my life.
Am I so sad that I will have to look at pictures and search my mind for memories gone to pass away these coming cold dark winter evenings.

I cant be on my own.
To many people go to Turkey and must be experiencing the same feelings as myselfe.

Keep in touch friends we are one and the same.
