boat trip

ive been reading the posts since ive been home ( aug 30th) and see apost that john was p***ed off that a family let him down, saying they will go on a boat trip and never did. well i feel that the family have to explain, i spoke to you on thursday night in the lion, you were sat with gene and ann, when i said i would go into the office, on the friday we went to aqua dream water park in marmaris, ( which for all people that have not been is very high up on top of a hill, which makes it breezy so you dont feel the suns heat------so beware you have been warned). when we got there we creamed every one up and began our frolics and fun, my 10 year old is water mad, so you can imagine he was in heaven, every 30 mins i would get him from the water dry him down and reapply factor 50 cream to his very fair body.. we had a great day, but by the time the dolmus had got back to icmeler my son was fried to a cinder, and could hardly move with his skin tightening, although he didnt suffer from sun stroke he was very badly burnt, so we spent the next 3 days in the air conditioned hotel room, only venturing out late in the evening when the temperature had cooled down slightly ( only very slightly, but the sun was not shinning)
i was looking forward to the trip as i had read so much of it on the forum, and i will certainly make sure i get on one next year. hope this clears things up

Yes you have to be very careful in the sun and especially the heat we had the other week and thankfully it has now cooled down a lot and no more sweaty shirts

maybe you read it wrong but honestly I wasn't haveing a go at your family as I know things can crop up and it really doesn't matter to me how many go as it just leaves a lot more space on the boat to spread out.

I think you may have read about Gene being peeved about people making plans on here to meet and do other things (may have been boat not sure) and then not turning up.

I am here all the time and it does happen but hey you are on holiday and other things dictate what we do daily.

Some days you may say we will do a certain thing tomorrow but then events happen to change this and plans are out of the window but the main thing is to make sure that everyone enjoys their holiday and has a great time with there families.

There are plenty of times in the future for trips out and meet ups so we all look forward to meeting once again next summer.
