Dogs and Cats

Postby haydn » 09 Oct 2010 15:41

I pondered this question while we were in Icmeler last 2 weeks. (finished my book on the beach, bored)
Why in the UK when 99 % of dogs and cats are owned by responsible owners, and 1% are strays, do we still find piles of messeges on the streets, and parks that should be picked up by there loving resposible owners.
And in Icmeler, where 99% of dogs and cats are strays, and 1% are owned by loving responsible owners, do we find very few, if any little messeges around

I know that most owners are responsible for picking up after there pets and i do not wish to offend anyone, this is just an observation

well the council in icmeler come around a lot and collect rubbish compared to the councils in the uk where most of the collections are now fortnightly
its probably due to the council being efficient

I just want to say that this is the first year I have ever seen loads of cat and dog poo all over the streets, the paths, the roads. Was like playing hop skotch to miss it in some places.

I must have my eyes firmly closed, because I didnt see any!

Mind you, it was only on the last day before we came home, the day we had a drink with Colette in Zaza's that I actually found the fountains - and thats my 3rd trip there this year
