Greenworld Apartments

We are arriving in Icmeler at silly o'clock on 28th of this month. Having spent hours reading the forum comments, we can't wait!
Any info. comments or tips about Greenworld would be appreciated. e.g. Taxi fare from there to downtown, though I know a dolmus stops just outside. I have a list of restaurants to visit gleaned from here, Tripadvisor and other sites and a taxi straight to them would save a lot of searching before we know our way around.

hi up past the market, a friend of mine stayed there and he spoke quite highly of them , taxis down to the centre about 5lira, dolmus passes but might go straight to marmaris,not to sure but. bill

there are 2 icmeler dolmus'
one takes you down from greenworld and julian forest direct to the centre or the beach in icmeler then stops and goes back again
the other one runs from the centre of icmeler to the maxi tansas in marmaris and back again
i wouldnt go to the expense of paying for a taxi all the time cause they can be quite expensive
if you do decide to take one negotiate a price before getting in the taxi

I am going to Greenworld on 27th so will be there at the same time as you. I was there in May and the complex is great. A bit out of town but as Katie says getting around is not a problem. The advantage is that the pool has good terrace area and gets the sun all day, not like some nearer the town with a small pool and no sun. Staff at Greenworld are great and do everything they can to make your holiday special. Food at Greenworld is good too but it is nice to go to some of the many lovely restaurants. We are so looking forward to our return visit.
