Icmeler things to do for 2/3 year olds?

Postby dodgie » 20 Aug 2010 05:43

Goin on Thursday next week and I just wondered if there was anything to do with 2/3 year old children I.e is there a soft play area anywhere or a bouncy castle or any of them sit on ride things. We will be doing lots of swimming but like most small children he gots bored easily.

Any advice would be very welcome.

There are certainly quite a few little playparks scattered around Icmeler - I don't know where you are staying, but for instance, there's one just off the top of the canal, behind the taxi rank. Some of the bars and restaurants also have little play areas for wee ones, and there's a new mini golf area at the Linekars bar on the beachfront. These are just a few suggestions - I am sure other people will be able to come up with others for you. Hope you have a great holiday - the Turkish people love children and will make a big fuss of him wherever you go.

hiya dodgie,
like blondie said the turkish people will easily keep the toddlers entertained if you are in bars/restaurants.
we took our 2 year old in june and he loved it.there is plenty of play areas in icmeler and loads to do.
when you see how welcome you are made with children in bars/restaurants in turkey it puts ours to shame back at home.they will make food and drinks to suit and nothing is too much trouble.
cant wait til next year.

I know that the melissa had a little play bit for kids as did a few other restaurants, there are little caro usels dotted arounf and theres a park with quite a lot of things in it, the park was along the same road from dejavu heading towards marmaris kinda direction, about a 5 min walk from the dejavu.

Hiya the safest bet for u guys is the beach buy a bucket and spade none stop fun for them.
Even the Jeep Safari is worth taking them on. But Shop around for a good deal...play areas at the bars etc are not all that not very health and safety. What we did we took loads of colouring books and pens which to kids used at the bar etc..

what i will say about the small playgrounds while being very pleasant for the little ones ,they are a magnet for the multitude of cats that roam icmeler so you will need to be very careful and check the sand before the kids decide to play in them,we were in an apartment that had a small playground and luckily for us one of our fellow guests pre warned us just as the kids went to play in it as naturally its a great draw to them

There is a good play area in the Turkish Delight and an even better one in the Lemon Tree.

There is a great kids play centre with ride on cars, stand outside Tansas go left on the main road, then right at the top and it's about half a mile down the road. There is crazy golf too :D
