i am going icmeler 4 my 1st time 2 turkey on 26th aug. i am an avid warrington wolves fan and as i will be away when we go wembley this year is there a bar that shows sports? cheers

Most places will put it on for you as long as is doesn't clash with a football game, if there's football on you've got no chance.
I'm a league supporter myself and found this to be the problem a number of times while I've been in Icmeler. The only bar I found who would show rugby irrespective of whatever else is on is the Sports Bar which you will find at the Hotel Devamli, at the town end of the canal.

Jimmy okimo bar no problem with rugby watched a few games in there jimmy is a fan

Welcome to Icmeler, from a Hull FC supporter.
Im there from 6/20 Sept and would hope to see the Play Offs, especially the FC one or hopefully two.
The Sports Bar does show RL as does Romeo & Juliets ( next to 3 Bells / Blue Rainbow Hotel) they are multi screened and they put on whatever is requested.
The owner of the Liverpool FC bar is from Leeds and a league fan.
Sure you will see the matches chalked up outside the bars, does clash with that Premier League stuff, but Im sure you will find the Final etc.

we always watch the games in Sports Bar we also will be watching the playoffs (Hull KR) will probably see you there good luck at wembly we will give them a cheer for you as we will be there we arrive in Icmeler on mon 30th Jan and Jeff

I got back from Icmeler last night (review on the way!) . I too am an avid wolves fan. You will have no problem watching the final, as all the bars have BBC1, which is the channel I believe the final is normally on. I was unable to watch the semi though, as it was on a Sunday afternoon. BBC1 was showing the Eastenders omnibus, and so the game was on BBC2. It also clashed with the Charity Shield, so I spent an hour wandering round going into every empty bar I could find asking them to turn the football off and get BBC2 on. None of them could manage it though, the effort some of them put into trying was unbeliveable. One guy spent half an hour scanning every geostationary satellite in the western hemisphere (I suppose regular Icmelerites are used to this kind of service) , but still couldn't get it! I think it has something to do with the size of ASTRAs footprint!!!????

I really hope it's on BBC1 and they don't switch it. If all else faills I will send you live text updates from Block 115 row 6. That is if I am still able to opperate a mobile phone by kick off time.
