don't think you would be able to make definite plans at the moment as they may bring in the change to visa for next season. If it remained the same you would have get your visa renewed every 90 days - either with a visit back to the UK or a trip to Rhodes

You will have to apply here in the UK. It is not as easy as it was-now you are allowed only to stay for 90 days in 180 and they do not allow a pop to Rhodes for another visa now. I cannot imaging it being very easy now and will probably cost quite a bit. Here is the link for UK Turkish embassy/consulate to apply. Applications for visa is by appointment only.

Residence Visa for stays over 90 days would cost around £220 I believe. This is now the only way you can be in Turkey for over 90 days stay.
The normal £10 tourist visa will let you visit the country as many times as you want within 90 days but once the 90 days is up you cannot buy another £10 tourist visa for a further 90 days. This therefore eliminates people renewing their tourist visa. You cannot simply buy a £10 visa and use it for 90 days and then take a trip to rhodes to renew it as I know thats what most people do (or return to the UK to renew it and straight back again).
I am going to struggle next year too. We usually visit May, July and October however by the time October comes are 90 days would be up and we wouldnt be able to buy a visa to enter Turkey. Our only option is to either buy a resident visa for 6 months at £220 each which turns a cheap fortnight into a very expensive one! Or simple not go :(

Doz

Relax it was all fixed a few weeks ago now.

90 day visas run as they always did and you can still take a trip out of the country then come back in the same day
