I'm home!

Had a lovely time ( as always ) bad problem afew days ago 2 days before we were due to fly home all our english money got stolen out of our room. Will not name the hotel but its behind the divamli & loveboat and i would not stay there again.

Lucky for me grew up there and my family live in dalyan so my mum and nan&grandad came to the rescue and paid off our bar bill and gave us some spending money for the last 2 days.. Everybody was so helpful i felt so lucky to have long time friends in icmeler bars and restaurants everyone was offering us money/food/drinks it just proved to me how loving the people really are.

Besides that little bad day and the fact that the hotel was a major pain we had the best time and i am just planning on going back for afew weeks in october.
The weather is extremely hot at the minute but you sun lovers will be brown unlike me it was too hot so i just stayed in the pool

Afew places i will recommend that we spent alot of time this summer:
The melissa..food was lovely and the staff are so nice
Im pretty sure it was florida where we had the 2.99lira efes.
Blue fox do a nice breakfast for 5 lira
Sevgi bar frozen cocktails are a MUST!
Linekars - vodka redbull was the most vodka i have ever been given and a full REAL can of redbull. well worth the pennys

Sounds like you had a great time but how awful for you to have your money stolen like that, makes you wonder how someone can do that and leave people in a bad situation in a foreign country but then when you get offers of help etc it restores your faith in human nature. One consolation is it wasn't at the beginning of your holiday.
Look forward to seeing your photo's and good to know it hasn't put you off going, it can happen anywhere and unfortunately often does.

glad you still had a good time.thank god you had such good friends,family who rallied round.it seems to be happening quite a lot lately[money being stolen] happened to my mum and dad in june.spoilt there holiday.i have always trusted staff in all the hotels i have stayed in,but i will be more wary now.

Sorry to hear that happened to you, I take it your money wasnt in a safety dep box?, or was it and they had stolen it out of there? because if they are staring to steal money out of the boxes what hope do we have
